At SEM Dance Studio, movement is more than technique it’s a journey o faith, artistry, and growth. Rooted in the legacy of Saints Ensemble Movement, our studio provides a safe, inspiring space where dancers of all ages can develop skill, confidence, and purpose. We are committed to teaching excellence, honoring Black dance traditions, and building community through discipline, creativity, and worship.

Our mission is simple; to nurture dancers who embody artistry, resilience, and spirit inside and outside the studio.

About Romero Cannady

SEM Dance Studio is led by Romero Cannady, a licensed educator, choreographer, and visionary committed rio merging faith education and the arts, With years of experience teaching dance in schools and directing community programs, Romero brings both professional artistry and a heart for mentorship into the studio.

Romero is the founder of Saints Ensemble Movement, a performance ministry that has impacted audiences across Minnesota through gospel-rooted dance and storytelling. He holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is currently pursuing a PhD in Administration, preparing for future leadership as a principal. Beyond education, Romero is also a licensed special education teacher, licensed dance teacher demonstrating his deep commitment to nurturing students holistically mind, body, and spirit.

Through SEM Dance Studio, Romero Cannady continues his lifelong mission: to create a space where dancers not only perfect their craft, but also grow in confidence, character, and calling.
